A 2,300 foot Asteroid is headed toward earth and will pass by at around 5pm Pacific tonight. The asteroid rock is within 3.35 million miles of earth, roughly 14 times the distance between Earth and the moon. This is close in space standards. Fortunately, there’s no danger of the huge rock slamming into us.
If it comes close enough to be caught on camera, you can watch it happen live here.
