Congratulations to SpaceX for the flawless launch of Falcon 9. Early this morning at Cape Canaveral the Falcon departed for a historic trip to the International Space Station. This is a huge step toward space commercialization and demonstrations how private companies are at the forefront of space commercialization. There’s a tremendous amount of waste in the government and it’s a fact that private companies can do things better. To have the biggest impact, you have to solve the problem as an entrepreneur.
I am proud to be part of Moon Express, one of private enterprises that are stepping in to fill the void and re-launch our space program. We need to explore space, including the moon, from an entrepreneurial perspective. The moon has abundant resources that can benefit life on Earth and help leverage further opportunities for profitable space commercialization. The U.S. has the opportunity to use its entrepreneurial horsepower to open up the resources of space and the moon for national interests and for benefiting everyone on Earth.
Once again—congratulations to SpaceX. It’s amazing what a determined entrepreneur can achieve.
